About the event

[OPEN ACTIVITY]

Under the theme of "Ooh That's Fruity!" we're happy to announce that we're hosting an Open Mic Event at the Grand Theatre on Sunday, May 26th! This event is happening in collaboration with the Grand Pillow Society in the context of the Queer Year leading up to Roze Zaterdag.

Whether you're more into storytelling, poetry or music; this is the opportunity for you to present your art! There are some already fixed storytellers and a music act, but also tons of open slots waiting for you to fill them with your own personal colours. Or simply come to watch other people perform and enjoy the atmosphere if that's more your thing.

The sign-up process will happen via the Grand Theatre website. Usually, the event would be 5€, for Ganymedes members it's 4€! There is also the option of joining earlier and having dinner there for an additional 7€, but that is optional.

To receive your Ganymedes member discount for this event, follow these steps:

1. Click on this link or the sign-up button above and log in with your account. Don't have an account? Create one here.

2. Enter the promo code for Ganymedes members (sent in the Info Chat and our upcoming May Newsletter)

3. Click 'check'

4. Select ‘Ganymedes show' or ‘Ganymedes dinner + show’ respectively under prices and add it to your cart.

5. Click 'complete order.'

Remember to bring your most fun socks and we'll see you there!

Love,

the Pride Committee

PS: You're interested in maybe telling a story or presenting poetry at this event but would like some practice first? Keep your eyes peeled for a storytelling workshop coming up soon!
